Anti-Gravity Boots Required

Anti-Gravity Boots Required, 2013
9"l x 6.5"d x 6.5"h
Paper, Swarovski Crystal, LED lights, wires

This paper sculpture was created using an exacto knife and a ruler. Sheets of paper were hand cut as carefully as possible for alignment. No glue or any kind of bonding material is used and therefore the final sculpture will be enclosed in plexi. Inside the hidden chamber, which can only be accessed with anti-gravity boots, is a Swarovski Crystal lit by 2 LED lights.

Drip, Drip, Drip

Drip, Drip, Drip, 2013
5 5/8"l x 5 5/8"d x 6"h
Paper, LED lights, plexi, wires

This paper sculpture was my second attempt and I wanted to create something graphic and simple in terms of design. The wiring for the 4 LEDs was a real pain in the arse because it's all internal. The switch and battery is in the bottom and not visible.

Paper

This was my first paper sculpture. It was a great learning experience in terms on how to cut paper accurately and make it align. It also give me ideas as to what designs and shapes will work and what won't work.

Not For Sale (Commissioned by Ripley Entertainment Inc.)

This piece was commissioned by Ripley Entertainment Inc. for their museums. I really liked the way this turned out. It's the first piece I've done where all the type is not in capitals. I wanted the type to much Ripley's.
